MAKAY MASONRY LLC hereby warranties workmanship for a period of one year, starting on the completion date of the project. The work will remain free from all defects in workmanship and will comply with all specific requirement of the specifications.

The owner / contractor is responsible for contacting MAKAY MASONRY LLC and shall give reasonable time to complete repairs. This warranty is inclusive to owner / contractor that paid for the job to be done and will not be transferred. This warranty will be void if workmanship is altered or repaired by another party after work is complete.

Due to the nature of concrete, brick, block, natural stone and cultured stone. Cracking, discoloration and spalling of the concrete is not covered under the warranty.

This warranty does not include defects in products used by our company. Any problems with products used must be resolved through the manufacturer of the product and their warranties will apply. It is the responsibility of the owner / contractor to obtain product warranty information.

MAKAY MASONRY LLC shall not be under any responsibility or liability to make repairs occasioned by injury to said property caused wholly or in part by natural disasters, windstorm, tornado, lighting, hail, bad water drainage, vandalism or other casualty, or by reason of negligence by any party not directly associated with the contractor.

  MAKAY MASONRY LLC, CONTRACT GENERAL PROVISIONS

All work shall be completed in a workmanship like manner and in compliance with all applicable building codes and other relevant laws. MAKAY MASONRY LLC shall comply with all local requirements for building permits, inspections, and zoning.

1. Customer is responsible for providing access to electrical outlets and water unless otherwise specified in contract.
2. Customer is responsible to provide access to property where job is being performed and shall not dictate the hours MAKAY MASONRY LLC works.
3. Any alteration or deviation from the above specifications involving extra cost will be executed only upon written order, and will become an extra charge over and above the estimate. All change orders will be executed only upon advanced payment.
4. MAKAY MASONRY LLC warrants it is adequately insured to the extent required by law for injury to its employees and others incurring loss or injury as a result of the acts of MAKAY MASONRY LLC or its employees of subcontractors.
5. Owner is to carry insurance against fire, theft, and natural disasters including hurricanes, tropical storms, tornado, flooding etc..
6. In the event that the owner shall fail to pay any periodic or installment payment due here under, MAKAY MASONRY LLC may cease work without breach pending payment or resolution of any dispute.
7. MAKAY MASONRY LLC shall not be liable for any delay due to circumstances beyond our control including strikes, casualty, accidents, inclement weather or general unavailability of materials.
8. In the event that the work/repair is halted or delayed by the customer MAKAY MASONRY LLC will be paid for work completed and MAKAY MASONRY LLC will complete the job at a mutually agreed date.
9. Price does not reflect any new landscaping, mulching, sowing grass, spreading top soil, or finish grading, unless specified on this contract.
10. Customer is responsible for marking all underground piping, electrical lines or gas lines not marked by Miss Utility unless otherwise specified in the contract. Markings must be within 12” of the actual location of the subject utility line. MAKAY MASONRY LLC is not responsible for any damage done to underground invisible pet fences during performance of work.
11. Additional charges, if applicable, may apply for modifying or repairing any existing drainage lines, water supply lines, gas lines, electrical wiring, sprinkler system piping & wiring, or duct work.
12. This agreement is limited to the above items based on visual inspection at the time of submission. Any and all additional repairs will become an extra charge over and above the amount of this agreement. Should any form of hazardous materials (Asbestos, Lead Paint, Etc.) be suspected in any location of the work described above, MAKAY MASONRY LLC will not be responsible for removal or handling of such hazardous materials.
13. All disputes shall be resolved IAW the BBB Arbitration Clause.
14. In the event of any collection efforts to obtain moneys due, the customer will pay MAKAY MASONY LLC reasonable attorney fees.
15. MAKAY MASONRY LLC reserves the right to use any photographs or video taken during performance of work for training or advertising purposes.
16. This proposal may be withdrawn by MAKAY MASONRY LLC if not accepted in 30 days.
